Common Questions
Do I need a referral to start care?
Yes. Medicare, Medicaid, and Humana all require a physician’s order confirming you need skilled home health services.
What does “homebound” mean?
Generally, that leaving home takes considerable effort or isn’t medically advisable. Occasional outings — medical appointments, religious services — don’t disqualify you.
Will I have to pay anything out of pocket?
Original Medicare and many Humana Medicare Advantage plans cover eligible home health visits at
$0. We verify your specific benefits before care starts.
Can I have both Medicare and Medicaid?
Yes — this is called dual eligibility, and it’s common. We’ll help explain how your benefits work
together.
What if my insurance isn’t listed here?
Call us — we work with additional plans beyond what’s listed above. Prefer not to go through insurance at all? We accept Private Pay.
